The 43-year-old actress brought her enchanting looks to the magazine's spread while opening up about topics such as her current life situation, what makes her feel old and her red carpet secrets.

On being asked to describe her life:
"Joyful and peaceful. I want to see friends more and travel more. I say that every year, but this year, I’m going to do it!”

On what makes her feel old:
“You know what makes me feel old? When I see girls who are twentysomething, or the new crop of actresses and think, ‘Aren’t we kind of the same age?’ [Jennifer is 43.] You lose perspective. Or being offered the part of a woman with a 17-year-old child. It’s like, ‘I’m not old enough to have a 17-year-old!’ Then you realise, well, yeah, you are."

They require serious strength. On the red carpet, it’s time for me to start doing something different. I play it very safe, because I just want to be comfortable. If I could wear a jersey tank that went down to the floor, I would.”

I also like Dr Hauschka’s Rose Day Cream, which I mix with sun block and Angels Makeup’s collagen patches, which my make-up artist Angela Levin designed. You put them under your eyes and they moisturise the skin. A nice morning pick-me-up.”
